05 May 21 Priorat Natur keeps regional traditions alive

All Priorat Natur’s recipes come from family traditions, professionalised and optimised, with typical regional fresh ingredients.

In 1997, facing the fear that Priorat’s traditional cuisine would disappear in future generations, Priorat Natur was created, turning “old-fashioned” traditions in to a new way of life.

All Priorat Natur’s recipes come from family traditions, professionalised and optimised, with typical regional fresh ingredients. Dried fruits and olives are part of Priorat’s main crops, and also all types of preserves, that traditionally were home made at home for self-consumption.

Following this belief, they manufacture a wide range of products such as virgin extra olive oil, olives, caramelised, toasted and salty dried fruits, jams and marmalades, quince or sauces, all with 100% natural products, with origin and tradition.

With perseverance and hard work, Priorat Natur is now present in the best delicatessen shops and restaurants in more than 14 countries and has also received significant recognitions from industry experts and specialised journals around the world.

This company growth, which was initially located at “Cal Quico” workshop in Pradell de la Teixeta, has created the need to have new headquarters in Falset providing good connections and services.

For this reason, Prefabricats Pujol was appointed to provide a 500m2 industrialised building, with a facade cover and protect the building from inclement weather, sandwich panels with pir-type insulation and in connection with Icaria, Thalassa beams and reinforced concrete Dover beams, used mainly for cover structures, as they can span over 20m.
